The price will be higher at the door. There are LIMITED number of tickets available. Get one before they are sold out. If you are coming in from out of town, door price will be $10 if you have proof of address. Contact me for more info. The theme for this event will be SPACE AND THE HEAVENS. That gives everyone a nice wide range of choices on what they want to wear. The venue will be accessible by OCTranspo and is reasonably close to downtown. The location will be announced 24 hours in advance on this website. There will be cheap water AND cheap drinks available all night. That's right...cheap booze! :D As part of improving the image of raves, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Ottawa Food Bank. In exchange for a donation you will receive a gift pack containing several mix CDs from some of Ottawa's best underground DJs. ...all of this and much more to be announced over the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned! ========================================================= IMPORTANT INFORMATION ========================================================= BRING ID: We are going to be very strict about making sure that the 16+ rule is enforced. This means you will need AT LEAST 1 piece of photo ID and be ready to show another piece to back it up, preferably another photo ID. NO PHOTO ID = NO ENTRY If for some reason you don't have any ID, please contact me directly at least 72 hours before the event. ----- NO DRUGS: Anyone caught with illegal substances will be ejected from the party immediately. ----- RESPECT THE VENUE: Anyone caught tagging or in any way vandalizing the venue will be ejected from the venue and reported to the police. They will also be billed for any clean up costs involved. I'm taking this very seriously. Ottawa doesn't have many places left that will host these type of events and we need to respect the places that do. Venues are the key to maintaining any type of scene in Ottawa. ----- NO OUTSIDE DRINKS: We're sorry but all bottles, even if unopened, will be confiscated at the door. We have no way of verifying that they have not been tampered with and we are responsible for everything that goes on inside the venue. Water bottles will be sold for a very reasonable price and cold running water is always available. Please refer to the bottle section in http://tamerax.com/survey/page6.html for more information. ----- REFUNDS: Unless there are unforeseen circumstances, no refunds will be issued. This basically means if for some reason you get thrown out of the party for being stupid, or you get to party at midnight and didn't think it ended at 2a.m., or really any other reason other than it being shut down early (WHICH IT WON'T), don't expect a refund. ----- GUESTLIST: Don't assume you are on the list. Unless you have heard from me DIRECTLY, you aren't on it. Contact me if you have any questions about it. ----- We will be enforcing ROAR (Right of Admission Refusal). Have fun and be safe but aware that if you act like an idiot, you'll be asked to leave. ========================================================= FAQ ========================================================= Q: Is this a rave? A: That depends on what you consider to be a rave. Some people think a rave has to be an all night event. For that reason, I'm calling this a "16+ dance event" rather than a rave :P Q: Why isn't this an all night event? A: No available venues. Pretty simple. Q: Since when have you been part of Synergy? Where is Mitch and Pat in all this? A: I was one of the founding member of Synergy. I just stopped promoting raves when I moved. When I found out Doc was retiring without a proper party, I came out of promotional retirement to do this for him. Mitch and Pat are taking a small break from promoting after Here We Go Again but I have it on good authority they have something in the works coming up in the next few months. So, any questions about this event can be sent right to me and I'll gladly help out. Q: Will you be making another mix like you did for the last Euphoria? A: Yup :D It will be out in the next couple of weeks. Q: What type of ID can I use? A: drivers license passport new style OHIP cards are only good to match a face to a name. student id card birth certificate any official id (work badge) that can be backed up with any of the above. Basically, put it this way, if the cops asked you for ID, what would you give them to prove who you are? Q: I'm 15 but i turn 16 next month, can i still come? A: No. The Ottawa bylaw states that people under the age of 16 are not allowed outside after midnight. So, its not us being hard asses, its the law. ========================================================= PRE-PARTY INFO ========================================================= here is also the preparty info!
